In honor of the brave men and women who continue to preserve freedom enjoyed by Americans, the Green Mountain Council of Scouting America is proud to present the annual Scouting Salute to Veterans parade, Saturday, November 1st, 2025, rain or shine. This year’s “Scouting Salute to Veterans Parade” will be hosted by Morrisville, Vermont.  

All Scouting America and Girl Scouts of the USA units are invited to march in uniform as we honor our Veterans!

2025 Scouting’s Salute to Veterans Parade Overview

Location: Morrisville

Host Committee: Pack & Troop 876

Date/Time: Saturday, November 1, 2025

Arrival and Lineup: 9:00-10:00 A.M.

Muster Location/Parking: Peoples Academy High School, 202 Copley Avenue, Morrisville (Follow Signs)

Step Off: 10:30 A.M.

Parade Route: The parade will leave the high school, travel down Copley Avenue to the center of Main Street, take a right and travel down the hill to Oxbow Park for the closing ceremony.

Ceremony Location: Oxbow Park

Lunch Location: Lamoille County VFW Post 9653, located on Pleasant Street (Lunch included for all marchers) 

Camping Location (Not Included): Mt. Norris Scout Reservation located at 242 Boy Scout Camp Rd, Eden
