Archery, BB, and Slingshot Rangemaster Training
This course will qualify adults 18 years and older to supervise and instruct archery, BB, and slingshot activities at a BSA camp or at any district or Council activity.
It also satisfies the need for a Rangemaster at any Scouts BSA or Venturing unit-level activity involving archery, BB guns, or slingshots. Shooting sports are not an approved unit activity for Cub Scouts.
Trained Rangemasters are also needed to supervise use of GMC’s new inflatable archery range.
The course has a classroom component and a hands-on Shooting Experience. You must complete both parts to be certified (class first).
Part 1 - In-Person Session (class portion)
Class will be held at Mt. Norris on Friday, October 4th 6 pm - 9 pm.
Part 2 - October 5 TRAINING OPPORTUNITY (in person practical)
In person (classroom & practical) - Saturday, October 5th, 2024, from 9:00 AM - 1 PM at Mt. Norris. All participants need to bring their own lunch & snacks.
Many thanks to your instructor, Jeff Carrara.
--There is no fee for this training, but you must "check out" to complete registration. Please indicate if you are taking certification for Archery only or both Archery & BB Range.
