Are you an adult coming to MNSR this summer with your unit?  We have an opportunity for you to participate in adult leader training while you are here.  The current schedule is below:

Every Wednesday 2 PM - 6 PM: #10 Can cooking - All foods will be prepared using #10 cans (these are large gallon size cans that industrial kitchens use). This course will focus on using different techniques using #10 cans to prepare a full meal. At completion of the class, participants will enjoy the fruits of their labor enjoying a delicious 5 course meal. Cost of the class is $10 per person (to cover food costs). Class size is limited to 10 adults. Participants should bring a knife, fork, plate, bowl and water bottle.

WEEK 3 ONLY

BALOO Training

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is a training course for Cub Scout leaders who want to incorporate camping into their activities. It's made up of two parts: an online course and an overnight camping experience. Both parts must be completed to qualify as a trained Cub Scout outdoor leader.

Please complete the online training available through my.scouting.org prior to coming to camp. You will spend Thursday learning more about the outdoor skills including cooking. Your overnight camp experience will be the experience you have while at camp for the week
