Popcorn Blitz
Event Details

Here’s what you need to know:
- Meet at the Scout Office, 3604 Maplewood Ave, at 8:30am – enter through the back door.
- Sample and check out popcorn until 9:00am.
- Sell popcorn door-to-door from 9:00am until about noon.
- Participants must NOT set up a booth to sell.
- Go door-to-door
- Sell to family and friends
- Be back at the office no later than noon with the money for items sold and remaining popcorn.
- We’ll tally the amount sold and determine winners while you have a pizza party!
- First place will choose their prize of choice, second place will choose their prize and so on and so forth until all the prizes are gone!
- Even if your unit is not selling popcorn, you can sell at this event to raise funds for your Scouting adventure!
- Funds will be deposited in your unit’s account or payments can be made on next year’s registration at the office.
- Any age Scout can participate!
- Last year, out of the top 3 winners, two were Troop Scouts!
- Things you may want to bring while selling:
- Water to drink
- Wagon to pull around popcorn
- Change for cash popcorn sales
- Uniform or Scout T-Shirt (not required if you are a new Scout, but it can be helpful to have one)
