EVENT INFORMATION
You are invited to attend the Northwest Texas Council (NWTC), Boy Scouts of America Spring Cub n’ Pal (CNP) at Perkins Scout Reservation. The Spring CNP will be "Aviation” themed!

MORNING EVENTS INFORMATION
Archery: Take aim out on the Perkins Scout Reservation Archery Range. Our qualified instructors will work with your Scout to help them give it their best shot!

BB Guns: Take aim out on the Perkins Scout Reservation BB Range. Our qualified instructors will work with your Scout to help them give it their best shot and take down our aviation-themed targets!

Slingshot: Take your skills over to the range and knock ‘em down with our slingshots. Rumor has it the ammo for this event is not what you’re expecting!

Drone Racing: Get behind the controls of RC drones and compete against your peers in a race like none other. Take your piloting skills to the next level by attempting the drone obstacle course.

Aircraft Production: Put your skills to the test and build your very own realistic aircraft and then FLY IT!

Crash Landing: Grab your very own paratrooper and use one of our AIR CANNONS to launch him or her to safety.

Houston We Have Lift Off!: Scouts will create their very own rocket and challenge each other for the highest flight and longest flight!

AFTERNOON EVENTS INFORMATION
Helicopter Landing/Demonstration: The Wichita Falls Air Evac Team will land at Perkins Scout Reservation and talk to Cub Scouts about how their aircraft helps them do their job. Air Evac Team staff will be on-site to show Cub Scouts their helicopter and provide pictures opportunities!

Rocket Building/Launching: Cub Scouts can purchase (kit is $5) a rocket kit and launch it during the afternoon. We will have qualified rocket-experts on staff to show different examples of model rockets and how they work, and rumor has it they’ll even be launching a HUGE ROCKET sometime during the afternoon!

RC Aircraft Experience: Your Cub Scout will have the opportunity to fly a real remote-controlled (RC) aircraft courtesy of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. Highly trained adult instructors will be on-site to provide this experience for your Cub Scout.

Morning Stations Will Be Open: Did you Cub Scout have a BLAST at one of the stations offered in the morning? Want to head on down to the range, fly drones, or shoot your rocket into the wild blue yonder? Feel free to go back and participate in any of the morning stations on a first-come, first-served basis. Please understand that some materials are limited and once they are gone, they’re gone!

IMPORTANT NOTE
Individuals registering after midnight on 31 March 2023 WILL NOT RECEIVE T-SHIRTS - NO EXCEPTIONS. Register early to make sure you and your Scout receive a T-shirt! Scouts will have the opportunity to screen print additional images on their shirts at the event.
