Lifesaving Merit Badge will take place on August 6th from 9:00AM - 4:00PM. Completion of the Lifesaving MB is at the discretion of the Merit Badge Counselor.

This merit badge requires Scouts to be strong swimmers, and youth will be required to swim the 400-meter requirement at the start of the event. If your Scout is not a confident swimmer, it is suggested you wait until he/she becomes a stronger swimmer. 

You will find the Lifesaving Merit Badge worksheet attached. Please review all requirements before registering your Scout for this merit badge. Again, Scouts who do not meet the swimming requirements for completion will not earn their Lifesaving Merit Badge. After completing all Lifesaving Merit Badge requirements, Scouts will be given the merit badge.
