USA ARCHERY LEVEL 1 INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Become a USA Archery Level 1 Instructor and help provide safe, quality archery experiences throughout Northwest Texas Council.

This hands-on practical training prepares participants to safely support archery programs at Camp Perkins and qualifying Scouting America council, district, and unit activities.

ELIGIBILITY

• Registered adult Scouters age 18 and older

BEFORE YOU ATTEND

USA Archery Level 1 certification requires BOTH the online course and the in-person practical.

Complete the USA Archery Level 1 Instructor online course and exam BEFORE attending the practical.

After completing the online portion, participants must notify the course instructor. Instructions for submitting completion confirmation will be provided to registered participants.

Once the online training is complete, participants will receive the USA Archery registration information for the September 4 practical course.

The USA Archery online course is purchased separately through USA Archery.

• Parts A & B of your Scouting America Annual Health and Medical Record

PLEASE NOTE

Cub Scout archery activities must be conducted as approved Council or District activities and are not approved as individual pack or den activities. This certification also qualifies participants to provide required archery supervision for Archery Merit Badge activities. Merit Badge Counselor registration is a separate requirement.

No refunds will be given to participants who do not complete the required online training before the in-person practical.
