Grayson Games 2.0 Scouts BSA event

Event Details

Launching a new era at Camp James Ray and the Circle Ten Council.  Scouts BSA Scouts, their parents, patrols, and Troops can register and bring a friend (Scouts BSA age) to enjoy rifle shooting, archery, shotgun range, pool, aquatics and other fun activities such as gaga ball, tether ball, all meals (Saturday lunch, dinner and Sunday pick up and go breakfast) in the air conditioned dining hall, and camp fire program.  Each participant will receive a James Ray activity patch and James Ray CSP.

We are bringing a plan of action for the 1st Council event where Scouts BSA youth, parents and leaders can enjoy camping at one of the Circle Ten Council's Camping Facilities; Camp James Ray in Pottsboro Texas on Lake Texoma!

Youth can join Scouts BSA if they have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10 years old, OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old, OR are age 11 but have not reached age 18.

Campsites will be assigned based on the size of groups and needs.  Programs will run from 10-12 and 1:30-5:30pm.  More details will be sent to registrants.

1. Register before August 13, this event is limited to 230 total participants.

2. Check-in is Saturday from 9-11 AM

3. Program areas open: 10am-12 noon

4. Lunch 12:00 Noon-1:30PM-Dining Hall

5. Program areas open: 1:30PM-5pm

6. Dinner at 6pm in the Dining Hall

7. 8:15PM Campfire Program at the new Council Ring at the Lake

Sunday:  Pick up and go breakfast, check out by 11AM
