2021 Elm Fork Super Training Day
These instructor-led courses are designed to help adult leaders learn how to effectively carry out their Scouting roles and to fulfill BSA’s requirement that ALL LEADERS must be trained for their positions. All courses will be led by seasoned Scouters who have led in the leadership positions for which they are teaching. Below are the requirements to be trained and to be eligible to wear the “Trained” patch.
Registered leaders are required to be trained for their roles. These courses lead to meeting the "TRAINED" requirements set by the Boy Scouts of America. See the flyer for information on training requirements. All leaders are required to take Youth Protection Training (YPT) and direct contact leaders (den leaders, Webelos leaders, Cubmasters and SM/ASMs) are required to take YPT AND Weather Hazards Training - both are offered online at my.scouting.org in the BSA Learn Center - be sure to have your BSA Member ID# - if you do not have it, contact your committee chair. Upon completion of your position's training, you will be eligible to wear you position patch AND your "Trained" patch.
