Who:  Cub Scout leaders, Scouts BSA leaders and interested parents who want to better understand Scouting.  See list below of courses offered.  Due to COVID, we have had to adjust this year's training.

Join our fun and experienced instructors for for an overview of the Scouting program and position-specific training.  Come build your knowledge and leadership skills in these informative sessions.  Leaders will receive a link to the training materials and necessary forms and program helps for your unit.  Learn about how to benefit from your Council and Distrct events and trainings.

Registered leaders are required to be trained for their roles. These courses lead to meeting the "TRAINED" requirements set by the Boy Scouts of America. See the flyer for information on training requirements. All leaders are required to take Youth Protection Training (YPT) and direct contact leaders (den leaders, Webelos leaders, Cubmasters and SM/ASMs) are required to take YPT AND Weather Hazards Training - both are offered online at my.scouting.org in the BSA Learn Center - be sure to have your BSA Member ID# - if you do not have it, contact your committee chair.  Upon completion of your position's training, you will be eligible to wear you position patch AND your "Trained" patch.

We will be using Zoom for the Cub training and we promise to make it as interesting and fun as possible!!!  You will receive a link to the meeting and binder materials after you register.

Check-in:  8:15 am - be on time to win a $25 gift certificate to the Scout Shop if you win the gathering actvity! 
Lion Den Leader (8:30 am to 12:30 pm)  
Tiger Den Leader (8:30 am to 12:30 pm)  
Wolf/Bear Den Leader (8:30 am to 12:30 pm)  
WEBELOS/Arrow of Light Leader (8:30 am to 12:30 pm)  
Cubmaster (8:30 am to 12:30 pm)  
Pack Committee Chair/Member (8:30 am to 12:00 am) 

Due to Covid, the following changes have been made to our usual Super Training Day:

Scoutmaster & Asst Scoutmaster (8:30 am to 1:30 pm)  - will be offered in person at Oak Hills Park, 1210 E Hebron Parkway, Carrollton.  Pre-event Screeing Checklist will be required.
Troop Committee Chair/Member - will be offered in person at a later date - check EF Training Page and Facebook for updates.
Charter Organization Representative (COR) - cancelled - take online at my.scouting.org BSA Learn Center.
YPT in-person - cancelled - take online YPT at my.scouting.org in the BSA Learn Center
CPR/AED - cancelled - please contact Kirk French if your unit needs training.
