The Pechan Ozate Chapter (Elm Fork District) of the Order of the Arrow is hosting the upcoming District Arrow of Light and Bridging event on March 7th at 3:00 PM (Check in between 2:15 PM and 2:50 PM) at Mary Heads Carter Park in Carrollton (Kids Corral).

Participating units must provide their own awards, patches, and arrows. Members of the Order of the Arrow (OA) will perform the Arrow-of-Light Ceremony. There is no cost to attend or participate in the event, however, donations are welcome.

Typically, Pack Leaders present pins and patches prior to the Ceremony. During the ceremony, the OA presents the Arrows (supplied by the Pack). The ceremony is flexible and the ceremonialists can incorporate special requests into the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the OA ceremony team will need a list of Webelos' names, the Pack they are from, and the Troop which they will be crossing over to.

We will be complying with COVID protocol and will have a temperature check station for all in attendance. Since some may be within a six foot proximity, masks are required.  Each attendee is required to print and complete the attached COVID form and submit it upon arrival.

There will be a zoom coordination meeting for interested unit leaders on February 9 from 6:45 PM to  7:15 PM, before District Leader Roundtable.  We will discuss the details of the Ceremony at the meeting and discuss any special requests from units. Please contact Larry Brown at islakit@sbcglobal.net if you have questions.
