Camp Card Storefront Registration

Circle Ten Council is excited to partner with Albertsons and Tom Thumb for our 2022 camp card.  Albertsons and Tom Thumb have graciously agreed to allow our Scouting units to sell in front of their stores for the month of March.

When signing up please make sure to be aware of the following:

• Only the first placed registration will be allowed between February 15, 2022, to February 28, 2022.  Beginning in March units may sign up for as many times as desired.
  • Any unit placing more than one registration between February 15, 2022, to February 28, 2022 will have any registration(s) after the initial registration deleted/cancelled
• Generally speaking, shifts are in 2-hour allotments.  Weekdays will be from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM while weekends will be from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM (the final shift will be from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM for the weekends).
• No gratuity or tip container can be out (Albertsons and Tom Thumb have allowed us to sell in front of their store, not ask for donations).
• It is recommended that each shift have 2 Scouts per door and no more than 4 Scouts per door.
• Follow whatever policies the store has for COVID (remember we are guests).
• Two deep leadership is required for each shift.
• Remember to follow the Scout Law during the shift and make sure to leave the storefront better than you found it (like Scouts do!)

A suggested checklist of items to bring when selling are below.  These are not required but should be considered.

• Table and table cover (keep your area clean and no clutter)
• Banner and/or sign
• Cards (you need to sell something!!)
• Poster of camp card (so people can review offers more easily)

On the off chance there is an issue during a shift please call Nathan Doherty (713-598-4632) as soon as possible.

Finally, when done, go in and thank the manager for allowing us to be guests in front of their stores and consider patronizing the store.
