Registration closes Sunday, October 19th at 11:00 p.m.
All registrations must be done through Black Pug and late additions/substitutions or walk-ins are not permitted.
Trail To Troop (formally known as Webelos Woods) is an event for all Cub Scouts in Webelos and Arrow of Light dens (4th and 5th grades) to come enjoy the hands-on experiences and outdoor fun of Scouting.
Event Information
Where: Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp, 11217 FM 2970, Athens, TX 75751
When: Check-in: Friday, October 24th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Day visitor check-in: Saturday, October 25th at 7:30 a.m.
Check-out: Sunday, October 26th from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Cost: Covers program costs, insurance, Black Pug fees, and patch fees
Early Bird (must be registered on Black Pug BEFORE September 1st at 11:00 p.m.)
- $25 - Participants / Prospective Scouts
Prospective Scouts may only attend for the day and are not permitted to camp overnight. Prospective Scouts must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. - $10 - Adults/Parents/Guardians
- $10 - Staff and Volunteers
Regular Pricing (registration completed on or after September 1st at 11:00 p.m.)
- $30 - Participants / Prospective Scouts
Prospective Scouts may only attend for the day and are not permitted to camp overnight. Prospective Scouts must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. - $15 - Adults/Parents/Guardians
- $15 - Staff and Volunteers
Prospective Scouts (Grade 4 and 5 only): youth that have not registered with BSA. They will have the option to join the event Saturday and participate in all activities. Due to BSA policy rules, youth interested in joining scouting are allowed to attend for the day but are not allowed to camp overnight.
Please note:
Food will NOT be provided for participants except for an ice cream social Saturday evening. Please plan to provide meals for your family or as a pack.
A BALOO trained leader for each Pack MUST be present for overnight camping. All YPT (Youth Protection Training) and cub camping rules per BSA policy must be followed at all times.

- Medical concerns/mobility issues
