For Scouts BSA and Venturing Youth

Scouts BSA-aged youth will have the opportunity to participate in a Sporting Clays Experience at Elm Fork Shooting Sports.

Participant Information

• Teams: Each team is typically comprised of 4 youth and 2 non-participating adults accompanying the youth. Teams will be finalized after registration closes. We will make every effort to keep your group together. Individual registrants will be grouped together and fill in with other teams to create consistently sized groups. 
• Youth: Participants must be a registered member of a Scouts BSA Troop, Venture Crew, Sea Scout Ship, or Exploring Post.
• Adults: must be over the age of 21 and a registered member of BSA.
• All adults and youth over the age of 18 must have current YPT/SYT.
• All youth must be accompanied by a parent or adult leader (two deep leadership).
• If you have a participant that has special mobility needs or needs special accommodations to participate, please reach out to the staff advisor prior to registration to ensure that we can meet their needs. 

Event Details

• Morning Flight arrival: 8:00 a.m.
• Afternoon Flight arrival: 1:00 p.m.
• Location: Elm Fork Shooting Sports, 10751 Luna Rd., Dallas, TX 75220
• Registration Deadline: October 10 at 11:00 p.m.
  This is the deadline to register, add/change participants, and update participant information.
• Lunch: A BBQ lunch will be provided. We are unable to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Refrigerated storage is available if needed.
• Transportation at the event will be provided. No personal vehicles are allowed on the course.
• NRA compliant safety briefing will be conducted on site prior to team start.
• All firearms, ammunition, and safety equipment will be provided. No personal firearms and/or ammunition will be permitted on site.
