2025 OUTDOOR ETHICS
LEAVE NO TRACE LEVEL 1 INSTRUCTOR COURSE

October 22 & November 8-9

- No late additions or walk-ins permitted -

As a Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor you can:

• Host effective Leave No Trace Awareness Events for your Unit or District
• Assist in facilitating Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor course
• Improve your presentation skills
• Take control of and greatly improve your unit's outdoor skills and experiences

Note a partcipant must attend BOTH the indoor and outdoor portions for his/her class

By registering for the Indoor Session, you are automatically registered for the Outdoor Session. Both are required to earn the Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor Certification.

Indoor Session: Wednesday, October 22 

• Location: John D. Murchison Scouting Center, 8605 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, TX 75235
  Upstairs conference room #7
• Check-in: 6:00 - 6:30 p.m.
• Time: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m

Outdoor Session: November 8 - 9, 2025

• Location: Camp Wisdom, 6400 W. Red Bird Ln., Dallas, TX 75236
• Check-in: 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8
• Start time: 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8
• End time: 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9

DO NOT FORGET: All participants must be currently registered members of Scouting America.

Course size will be limited to 16 candidates age 18 years of age and older.
