Adult Leader Training
What: Adult Leader Training, Scoutmaster Position-Specific training, course Code S24
When: April 12, 2025; 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Where: Camp Constantin, Dining Hall, Scoutmaster's Lounge
Prequisites: Registered Scouts BSA adult, Current Youth Protection and Hazardous Weather Training.
This Training is for ALL adults registered with a Scouts BSA Troop. While it is designed primarily for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters, Committee Members and other adults will benefit greatly by attending. This is a unique opportunity to learn how a Scout Troop functions within the Scouting Program. Taking this in-person training will give you access to experienced Scouters, who can answer your questions and give you tips and techniques not available with the online training.
It also will serve as part one to the Scoutmaster and Assistant Training program. To be a fully trained Scoutmaster or Assistant, the participant can attend this program and any Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Training (IOLS) offered by Circle Ten Council. The next Western Horizon District sponsored IOLS training is on April 25-27, 2025 at Camp Wisdom. Sign up HERE for IOLS.
