Camp James Ray Trail to Troops #2
(formerly known as Webelos Woods)

Registration closes Friday, October 3 at 11:00 p.m.
All registrations must be done through this registration site and late additions/substitutions or walk-ins are not permitted.  

 

Trail To Troops (formally known as Webelos Woods) is an event for all Arrow of Light dens (5th grade) to come enjoy the hands-on experiences and outdoor fun of Scouting. 

Event Information

Where: Camp James Ray, 2026 Mill Creek Rd. Pottsboro, TX 75076
When: Check-in: Friday, October 10, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Day visitor check-in: Saturday, October 11, at 7:30 a.m.
Check-out: Sunday, October 12, from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Cost:
Covers program costs, insurance, registration fees, and patch fees

  • $15: Youth Participants / Prospective Scouts. 
    Prospective Scouts may only attend for the day and are not permitted to camp overnight. Prospective Scouts must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • $10: Adults/Parents/Guardians
  • $10: Staff and Volunteers

Prospective Scouts (Grade 5 only): youth that have not registered with Scouting America and are interested in learning about Scouts BSA. They will have the option to join the event Saturday and participate in all activities. Due to Scouting America policy rules, youth interested in joining scouting are allowed to attend for the day but are not allowed to camp overnight.

Please note:
Food will NOT be provided for participants. Please plan to provide meals for your den or Troop.

A BALOO trained leader for each den MUST be present for overnight camping. All SYT (Safe Guarding Youth Training) and cub camping rules per Scouting America policy must be followed at all times.

Information Required during Registration:

  • First and last name
  • Unit type and number
  • Rank/grade
  • Camping or not camping
  • Emergency contact name, cell #, and relationship to attendee
  • Dietary/allergies restrictions
  • Medical concerns/mobility issues

Information Required at Check-In:

  • Unit Roster downloaded from my.scouting.org or Membership ID card
  • Annual Medical Health Record AB
