It may be in November but the 2024 Camp Wisdom Camporee #1 will be under the skies of October.
What does this mean for you?  ROCKETS and SPACE-related fun!

Come out to Camp Wisdom November 15 - 17 for a shoot-over-the-moon experience! There is a lot fun happening and you don't even have to moon walk to get to it. Mission control has cleared us for launch to help Scouts earn their Space Exploration Merit Badge in a fun way.  We will make and launch rockets, Shoot the Moon at the rifle range and safely dispose of radioactive rocks (okay, they aren't really radio active!). This event is appropriate for Scouts BSA, Venturing and Sea Scout units to attend. This is not an event for Arrow of Light Scouts. Due to ordering the required number of rocket kits and engines, we need to cut off registration two weeks prior so we don't disappoint Scouts not getting to put together and launch a rocket.  

Event Details

• Check-in: Friday, November 15 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
• Event Check-out: Sunday, November 17 by 10:00 a.m.  
• Location: Camp Wisdom, 6400 W. Red Bird Lane, Dallas, TX 75236
• Deadline to Register/make changes with your registration/make payment: November 3 before 11:00 p.m. Late additions/substituions or walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
• Meals: Units will provide their own meals for this event

Cost

• Scouts: Early registration (before October 27 at 11:00 p.m.) - $25  
• Scouts: Regular price- $30
• Adults/Staff: $10
• Cancellations: All cancellations must follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy (HERE).

• Unit Roster (must be official roster downloaded from my.scouting.org)
• Annual Medical Health Record AB
