Swim and Water Rescue Training

Camp Constantin: August 24, 2024

This training is designed for troop leaders who want to take their unit out swimming. Skills covered will include rescues with improvised materials, as well as practice administering swim tests.

Option 1: May 10 - 11, 2024

• Location: Camp Wisdom, 6400 W. Red Bird Lane, Dallas, TX
• Check-in: Starts Friday, May 10 at 6:00 p.m. in the Leadership Center
• Event Time: Friday, May 10 at 6:00 p.m. - Saturday, May 12 at 12:00 p.m.
• Registration Closes: Friday, May 3 at 11:00 p.m.
  This is the deadline to register, update/change participant information, and complete payment

Option 2: August 24, 2024

• Location: Camp Constantin, 3003 Park Road 36, Graford, TX 76449
• Check-In: Starts Saturday, August 24, at 8:00 a.m.in the Dining Hall
• Event Time: Saturday, August 24, from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Registration Closes: Friday, August 16, at 11:00 p.m.
  This is the deadline to register, update/change participant information, and complete payment

Cost

• May 10-11 at Camp Wisdom: $35 (meals not provided)
• August 24 at Camp Constantin: $50 (breakfast and lunch provided)
• Cancellations: All cancellations must follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy (see attchments section) 

Required Information
The following information will be requested during registration

• First and Last Name 
• Emergency Contact Name, Phone #, and Relationship to Scout
• Dietary Restrictions (Constantin session) 

Additional Information

• Unit/Attendee Roster required at check-in (one per registration) 
• Must bring your part A & B Health Forms if you plan on staying over night.
• Dorms will be available at an additional cost based on availability. They must be requested in advance of the training. Tent camping is included in the cost.
