Rendezvous is an older Scout event and is open to co-ed youth ages 14-20 who are registered in a Venturing Crew, Sea Scout Ship or Explorer Post. It is sponsored by the Circle Ten Council's Venturing Officers association.
Rendezvous will be on the weekend of March 8-10, 2024. Units can arrive Friday evening or Saturday morning. Units are allowed to camp overnight on Friday and Saturday. camping is not required to attend the event. all activities are on saturday.
Units will need to make a campsite reservations through Black Pug, within the event registration.
Additionally, the only meal being provided at the event is lunch on Saturday. Camping units will need to be prepared to provide for themselves Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast.
Anyone interested in attending Rendezvous that is not currently registered in a Venturing Crew or Sea Scout Ship, can contact Aren Cambre or Frank Griffin at Circle Ten Council for a the unit closest to you in our Councils boundaries. Scouts BSA youth 14 and older can join a Crew or Ship as a multiple without an additional fee. The cost for the weekend:
- Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scout, or Exploring Youth/Participant: $45.00
- Adult Leaders: $25.00
- Staff: $15.00
Registration closes: Monday March 4th at 11:00PM. This is the last day to register, add/update participant information, and complete payment will be required.
Registration Deadline is March 4 at 11:00 p.m.
There are NO late registrations and No Walk up registrations.
The registration deadline is needed to be able to provide for lunch on Saturday.
Required Information:
The following information will be required during registration:
- First and Last Name
- Age/Date of Birth
- Allergy, Medical, or Dietary Restrictions (Limited ability to meet dietary restriction with lunch that is served)
- Emergency Contact Name, Cell Number, and Relationship to Scout
Documentation Required at Check-in:
- Annual Medical Health Record AB
- Unit roster (downloaded from my.scouting.org)
The event list is evolving but at this time includes:
- Rifle, pistol, shotgun, blackpowder rifle, and blackpowder pistol
- Tomahawks, knives, action achery, field archery
- Mountain bike tours
- Zip line and climbing wall
- Crew Competitions
- Camping is available Friday and Saturday night
- MORE TO COME!
Other information:
- Camping avialable Friday and/or Saturday night
- BBQ Lunch provided Saturday
- Saturday potluck crackerbarrel and a movie
- Must be regisrtered in a Crew, Ship or Post to attend.

When:
Friday Night arrivals: Event check-in will begin at 6:00 p.m. and run through 10:00 p.m.
Saturday Arrivals: Event check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9
Saturday Program Time: Program areas will open at 10:00 a.m.
Units that wish to arrive on Friday night are welcome, normal Circle Ten gate check-in will take place on arrival.
In order to keep participant costs low - lunch on Saturday is the only meal that will be provided. Please order from the provided options.
