Overview:

The Circle Ten Council will be offering an adult Paddle Craft Safety Course and Canoe Instructor Training on September 22-24, 2023, at Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp. This will be a weekend course and includes both trainings.

This is a National BSA course that includes adult training in the skills required to teach the Canoeing Merit Badge and lead float trips.

Cost:

• Adult:
  • Spring session is $30 (includes breakfast and lunch)
  • Fall session is $65 (includes beakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday. Please make sure you eat dinner prior to arriving on Friday evening.)
• Cancellations: All cancellations must follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy (see Attachments) 

Paddle Craft Safety Training:

• Check-in: Saturday, May,20, at 7:00 a.m.
• Class runs: Saturday, May 20 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Registration closes: Sunday, May 14, at 10:00 p.m.

Paddle Craft Safety & Canoe Instructor Training: 

• Check-in: Friday, September 22 at 6:00 p.m.
• Class starts: Friday, September 22 at 7:00 p.m.
• Check-out will be upon the completion of the course on Sunday, September 24
• Registration closes: Monday, September 18 at 11:00 p.m.
