Who: Adult leaders desiring to be trained in the leadership and outdoor skills required for their positions.  

What: Leader Specific Training (originally called ALT): This is a two-part course, the first part is in a classroom setting which meets on Saturday. That is the course you are signing up for here. The second part is in the field at a hands-on campout called IOLS (Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills; there is a separate registration for this named "Northern Trail IOLS, which will take place on October 22nd, 2022." 

The Northern Trail registration only signs you up for the Classroom session.

Classroom Session (ALT): October 8th, 2022. 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the John D. Murchison Scouting Center (Dallas Scouting office)

We advise for you to sign up for BOTH sessions. Both parts are required to be considered a fully trained adult leader.
