Cost:  $65.00 per student includes Aquatics Supervision Guide (PDF) and certification patch. Open to any registerd leader or scout who is age 15 or older.
 

Due to COVID-19 precautions, this course is "bring your own practice partner from your household".  The practice partner must be able to pass the Swimmer Classification to participate.  There is no charge for the practice partner.

This course provides leaders with informtion and in-the-water skills to prevent, recognize and respond to swimming emergencies during unit swimming activities.  It also expands awareness instruction provided by Safe Swim Defense training to include basic water rescue skills.

Successful completion of the Swimmin and Water Rescue training qill authorize students to conduct the standard BSA swim classification test.
