Wood Badge 2023 Summer

What is Wood Badge?
Wood Badge is an advanced national leadership course offered to adults in Scouting who have completed their basic leadership training.
Who is Wood Badge for?
Wood Badge is for all adult leaders registered in Scouting: Age 18 or older, involved with Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts, Exploring, District, Council, Territory, or National.
Who may attend this course?
The course is open to all registered adult leaders.
We are extending a special invitation to those leaders who are also members of the historically black fraternities and sororities known as The Divine Nine (Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity), members of the Masonic Order (Freemasons and Eastern Stars of Prince Hall Affiliation), and to Scouters serving rural, urban, or underserved communities.

Summer 2023 5-day course
Dates: June 26-27-28-29-30 (Monday - Friday)
Location: Camp Tom Wooten (aka Cub World at LPSR), Bastrop, TX
Host Council: Capitol Area Council #564 (Austin and Central Texas)
What is the cost of the course?
The fee for the course is $275.
$100 deposit to register (non-refundable) and remaining balance paid no later than April 26, 2023, 60 days before the course.
