Austin Powwow has a long reputation of being an excellent event.

If you are interested in Native American Dance or Drum, this is a good opportunity to witness it at its finest.

This will also be our Lodge One Day of Service as we will provide staffing and other support to the Powwow.

Volunteer sign up is ready. The location of the event is the Travis County Exposition Center.

Because the number of volunteer openings per time block are somewhat limited, Scouts can sign up just themselves and their family can volunteer along with them in their time block if needed.

Volunteers will receive free admission to the powwow for the day. Volunteers can arrive any time and come check in at the volunteer booth (close to the admissions table which will be near the main Expo arena this year). When you arrive you will receive their wristband for free entry, then you can enjoy the powwow and the market until it's time for your volunteer time slot. At that time, come back to the volunteer booth to get your assignment. When your shift is over, you can stick around and enjoy the festivities as long as you like.
