Take a step back in time and learn about Texas' past at Days of Discovery Summer Day Camp. 

This camp is a week long drop off day camp covering topics like Texas History, old time crafts, pioneer games, early ranch/farm science and gardening.   Learn to shoot a bow and arrow, meet a horse, feed chickens, learn how people lived before modern convenience, start a garden, dig at a real archeology site, make candles, send a message using telegraph, and make a tool using metal!

When:

• Week 1: June 2-6, 2025
• Week 2: June 9-13, 2025

Camps will run Monday to Friday, 9am to 3:30pm.   Parents can drop off starting at 8:45am and should pick up by 3:45pm.

What:

Campers will learn about early Texas History, crafts, stories, engineering and more.  Parts of up to 4 new cub adventures will be covered.   Please see our Leaders Guide pages for more information about our classes and requirements covered in each.
