NRA PISTOL INSTRUCTOR COURSE

Start Date: 10/25-26/2024.  Continuing: 11/02/2024

Age Requirement: 21 and older to be a Certified Pistol Instructor.

Cost: $80.00

Description: This course is for training and certification of NRA Pistol Instructors.  This course includes the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting and the NRA Pistol Instructor Training.  All participants must have already completed the NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and have experience at firing handguns. 

Course Size: This course is open to the first 20 who register. 

Locations: 

Friday10/25/2024- 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm - Fickett Center
Saturday10/26/2024- 8:30 am to 7:00 pm – Fickett Center
Saturday 11/02/2024- 8:30 am to 7:00 pm – Rifle Range at Lost Pines Scout Reservation

What to Bring: For the second Saturday bring a cleaning kit if you have one. The council will provide all ammunition and handguns. 

NRA Certification Fee: After completing the course, there will be a fee to the NRA for certification.  The fee will be $30-$50 depending on whether or not you are a NRA member.
