REPORT TO STATE - DELEGATE REGISTRATION

Please note, this registration is for individuals who plan to attend the Delegate Breakfast, Report to State and Spirit Rally.    

2025 REPORT TO STATE - SPECTATOR EVENT PLAN

 

DATE: February 8, 2025

TIME: 8:00 am

LOCATION: Austin, Texas

WHO:    

All 18 councils in Texas are invited to participate. The method of participation is by gathering a group of spectators. Spectators will receive breakfast and will be able to enjoy activities around the Capitol while the Delegates are listening to the breakfast keynote speaker. We then will ask spectators to line the walkway from the church to the Capitol to cheer on the delegates as they march to the Capitol. Spectators who are Eagle Scouts will have the opportunity to gather with other Eagles for the Eagle rededication ceremony at the Scout Spirit Rally and are invited to the Eagle Reunion in the Legislative Conference Center inside the Capitol. 

 

COST 

 $40 per spectator (youth or adult).Reservations close January 13th, 2025.

Your participation fees are needed to keep this event successful for our current Scouts and for future generations of Scouts. Spectators will receive:

  • Breakfast at the church
  • Commemorative RTS patch and hat
  • Spirit Rally

COMMUNICATION 

Communication is the key to a successful Report to State. All communication will be through the council delegation leader and the council staff advisor for RTS. Please add andra.allen@scouting.org, ariana.contreras@scouting.org and no-reply@247scouting.org to your safe email list.

SPECTATOR EVENT SCHEDULE 

           8:00 a.m.      Check in @ First United Methodist Church

                                - Breakfast will be available downstairs, or enjoy activities on the Capitol grounds. 

           9:00 a.m.      Gather to cheer on the delegate processional leading to Scout Spirit Rally! (South Steps of Capitol)

           9:30 a.m.      Go through Capitol Security

         10:20 a.m.      Report to State Begins

         11:30 a.m.      Report to State Concludes (Approximate Time)

 

ACCOMMODATION

Options for your delegation to choose from:

Lost Pines Scout Reservation: is located approximately 35 miles from downtown Austin and is available for your delegation for $3 per person. Please bring your own tents and camping gear. Reservations must be made through Andra Allen prior to arrival. Cabins are available for an additional fee.   

You may consider contacting Austin affiliates of Charter Organizations that members in your delegation belong to for accommodations.
