2024 Jackalope Egg Hunt for Conservation

Event Details

The North Shore District, Travis County Natural Resources, and the UT Golf Club present the 2024 Jackalope Egg Hunt for Conservation. Scouts of all ages will hunt for golf balls in the Balcones Canyonland Preserve next to the UT Golf Course to help clean up the area.

This is a great conservation service opportunity open to all packs, troops, crews, ships, and posts. Build a team in your unit making sure you bring proper adult supervision and get registered to participate.

There is no charge to participate!

Saturday, March 2, 2024 starting at 8:30 am

Prizes will be awarded for the unit that collects the most Jackalope Eggs (golf balls).

What to wear:

  • Good walking shoes are required, hiking boots recommended. Shoes must be closed-toed.
  • Long pants
  • Activity shirt - short or long sleeved

What to bring: water bottle (refill stations will be available), sun protection.
