Sea Scout Academy at Lost Pines Scout Reservation

A regional Sea Scout learning experience where youth are taught advancement skills such as seamanship, navigation, crew drills and more. The event is the Saturday - Monday of MLK weekend.  This is a highlight of the year for many Sea Scouts.  This year we are adding an adult track so newer adults in your unit can get some great training during the weekend as well.  Quartermaster track candidates, need to reserve their space 3 weeks prior to the event and are expected to meet with track leadership for preparation prior to the event.

Paperwork Needs

BSA camping rules: All adults staying overnight must have a current Youth Protection Training certificate and must be registered with BSA in an adult fee-required position effective September 1, 2023.

• For every participant: bring a paper copy of your BSA Medical form parts A&B.
• For every participant: bring a paper copy of your BSA registration for every participant. 
• For all adults: bring a paper copy proof of unexpired YPT and your current BSA Leader Registration.
