North Shore Camporee:Dinos in the Wild

Event Details

Join us for Dinosaurs in the Wild at the North Shore Spring Camporee at Smilin V. This annual camporee is hosted by the North Shore Order of the Arrow Chapter. All older scout units are invited to attend.

Please register as a unit. Units must collect Annual Health and Medical Records Parts A-B2 for all participants (youth and adult). In addition, anyone over 18 must also have current Youth Protection Training. This can be printed as a roster from MyScouting.

Units may arrive beginning Friday evening and camp for the entire weekend, or just come out for the day. Each unit is asked to provide a dinosaur themed activity station for other troops to rotate through. A camp wide activity will be hosted by the OA in the afternoon. Additional competitions for food, campsites, station, Scout Spirit, and more will be held — see the pending guidebook for details. Units are encouraged to bring favorite songs and skits with a dinosaur theme for evening campfire.

The OA will sponsor a Call Out, Brotherhood Ceremony, and OA social. Arrowmen inducted at or before the October 2022 Ordeal are eligible to become a Brotherhood member. You must be current in your dues for 2023 and prepay or bring money for the new sash.
