Conservation Award Weekend

The Capitol Area Council invites all Scouts to earn the BSA Distinguished Conservation Service Award, Scouting’s highest conservation award available.

Each Scout will work alongside conservation professionals to identify their individual project, research it, develop a media and public education campaign around it, lead volunteers to carry out the project and monitor the results.
