2026 North Shore District Camporee & Arrow of Light Invitational: Digging Deeper

North Shore is ready to dig into Scouting skills in a caving themed campout! Welcome to Digging Deeper at the Smilin V Scout Ranch.
Crew 158 has been working hard to plan a fun event that will showcase your unit and enjoy our North Shore scouting community. Scouts & Troops and AOL & Dens from other districts are welcome to attend. The event is scheduled for November 20-22, 2026 in Liberty Hill.
- Older scout units - Troops, Crews, and Ships - will camp individually as units in designated campsites. Each unit is asked to sponsor a station for the rotations on Saturday. Units may camp overnight Friday and/or Saturday or come out for the day on Saturday. If your unit plans to arrive or leave on Saturday please let us know ahead of the weekend.
- Packs - Arrow of Light only (5th graders) - bring your den for a one-night campout* or join us for the day. On Saturday come participate in activities that the older Scout units host, a camp wide challenge, and campfire. Your den will camp as a unit in your designated campsite across from the older Scout units. Arrow of Light may attend with their parent for the day only.
- Scouts and Units outside of North Shore District
During the day on Saturday, Arrow of Light Scouts will rotate through the unit stations. All Scouts will compete in a camp-wide challenge Saturday afternoon. Additional competitions will be held for campsites, campfire performance, entryways, Scout spirit, food, and the Top Unit. Units are encouraged to bring their favorite campfire skits and songs with a caving twist to share in the evening campfire.
Order of the Arrow will offer a Brotherhood Ceremony.
New - Commissioner Enclave
North Shore Commissioners are hosting a site for you to visit and discuss any Scouting questions. They will have a special session in the afternoon. More information will be in the event guide.
