2026 Den Chief Training

Scouts can be valuable resources for Cub Scout Dens and their leaders. By completing this training, a Scout will be eligible to take on the role of den chief with a Cub Scout or Webelos Den. The time a Scout serves as a den chief applies toward the leadership requirement for rank advancement!  This course is for Scouts First Class and above.

See attachment to complete the required Recommendation Form to bring to the training.

When: Saturday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Check-in: 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Registration closes Saturday, October 21 at 5:00 p.m.
No late adds / No Walk-ins

All cancellation requests must follow the Capitol Area Council Refund & Cancellation Policy.
