Our premiere STEAM (the “A” stands for Art) camp provides engaging, exciting, and hands-on activities during the summer in Austin Independent School District’s state-of-the-art Applied Technology Center at Anderson High School. 

Camp attendees will use tools like:

• DSLR cameras
• 3D printers
• robotics kits
• hydrology display boards
• Labview, Tinkercad, Photoshop, Imovie and many more!

• Week 1 - June 15-19

CAMP DAILY PROGRAM SCHEDULE

• 8:00am - Extended care
• 9:00am - Daily check-in and welcoming activity
• 9:15am - Class 1 for 3-5 grade youth and Class 1 for 6-9 grade youth
• 10:15am - Snack and restroom break
• 10:30am - Class 2 for 3-5 grade youth and second part of Class 1 for 6-9 grade youth
• 11:30am - Lunch
• 12:10pm - Recess or activity
• 1:00pm - Class 3 for 3-5 grade youth and Class 2 for 6-9 grade youth
• 2:00pm - Snack and restroom break
• 2:15pm - Class 4 for 3-5 grade youth and second part of Class 2 for 6-9 grade youth
• 3:15pm - Closing activity
• 3:30pm - Parent pick up/extended care begins
• 5:30pm - Extended care ends and camp closes

Camp Hours

• Camp begins at 9:00am Monday through Friday. Campers can be dropped off between 8:45 am and 9:00 am. If you need to drop off your youth earlier than 8:45 am, please notify us that you will need to attend the morning extended care.
• Camp ends at 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Please plan to pick up your youth between 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm. If you need to pick up your youth later than 3:45, please notify us that you will need to attend the afternoon extended care.

Fees and Registration Details

• Registration opens November 15, 2025 and runs until the Wednesday before the camp week.

  • Early Bird Registration is between 11/15/2025 and 2/28/2026 11:59pm. The Early Bird Registration Cost is $325 and must be paid in full by 2/28/2025.

  • Regular Registration pricing is $350.

• Registration can be paid in installments

  • $25 deposit is due at the time registration.

  • Payment 1 of $100 is due on or before 2/15/2026 or at time of registration if registering before the due date.

  • Payment 2 of $100 is due on or before 3/31/2026 or at time of registration if registering before the due date.

  • Final payment of $125 is due on or before registration closing on the Wednesday before the start of camp.

• Camp is located at the Anderson High School campus, 8403 Mesa Drive, Austin, 78759.

• Registration fee includes a t-shirt, patch, and two nutritious snacks daily. 

• Campers must wear closed toed shoes each day of camp.  Participants taking Welding Merit Badge must wear jeans and non-plastic based shoes. 

• Camp is open to boys and girls entering the Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Grades

• Camp participants do not have to be a registered Scout to attend

• Camp participants do not need any prior knowledge or experience with technology

• Each camper must have some knowledge of online safety. 

• Each camper must complete and submit a camp medical form on the first day check-in at camp. Click here for more information.
