NRA Co-op Muzzleloading Rifle Instructor Training

Activity Dates: October 10, 11, and 25.

Age Requirement: 21 and older to be a Certified Muzzleloading Rifle Instructor. 

Pre-registration Requirement: This course open only to Scouters who have already completed the NRA Basic Instructor Training Course (BIT).

Description: This course gives the students the skills, knowledge and attitude to become a muzzleloading rifle instructor who can teach the basic rifle muzzleloading shooting program.

Cost: $80.00 for the course. Participants will be required to pay a certification fee to the NRA at the completion of the instructor course.

Class Size: This course is open to the first 8 who register.

Friday, October 10 - 6:30pm - 10:00pm at the Fickett Center
Saturday, October 11 - 8:30am – 7:00pm at the Fickett Center
Saturday, October 25 - 8:30am - 6:00pm at Lost Pines Scout Reservation

What's Included: The courses includes the NRA Muzzleloading Instructor Packet and the Muzzleloading Handbook.

NRA Certification Fee: After completing the course, there will be a fee to the NRA for certification. The fee will be $30-$50 depending on whether or not you are a NRA member.
