The Golden Spread Council and South Plains Council have merged effective June 1st!

We are now the Prairie Sky Council!

All registered Scouts and Scouters from Prairie Sky Council are invited to submit a recommendation for a new Council Patch to be considered. Rules for the Patch submission:

• Must be a registered Scout or Scouter in the Prairie Sky Council
• Patch design must be submitted through this online form by July 6th at 11:59pm CST
• Only one Patch design per person allowed (multiple submissions will be removed from consideration)
• Design must contain the Council Name (Prairie Sky Council)
• Patch design must follow rules on the Patch template from the pdf on this page
• The new Council Patch will be approved and announced on August 15th, 2026
