Fall 2026 Kick-Off Extravaganza

All Golden Spread Council and South Plains Council Parents and Volunteers:

Please join us as we present the newly merged Council’s 2026 Fall Kick-Off Extravaganza, designed to help optimize your Scouting experience. 

We will share Scouting resources, informative presentations, Program Planning, and have subject matter experts on hand to answer your questions. This is a great way to network with other Scout leaders and parents in our newly merged Council. We will unveil our new Council Strip at this meeting and will also have prize drawings for those in attendance! The Order of the Arrow will conduct activities and service projects with any youth that attend.

This event will be held on Saturday, August 15th; all registered Scouts and Scouters that RSVP by August 11th will receive a free new Council Strip! Check-in will be from 9:30am to 10am with the event taking place from 10:00am to 1:30pm at the Camp Don Harrington Dining Hall. Lunch is provided and there is NO COST to attend this event, however we would ask that you RSVP online so we have enough food for those in attendance. Don’t forget to sign up for the Scout Night with the Sod Poodles this same evening, free camping is available at Camp Don Harrington as long as you register at least one week in advance.
