Spook-O-Ree
This annual activity takes place at both Camp MK Brown and Camp Don Harrington!
Join fellow scouts as they travel around the camp and take part in fun activities (and some spooky ones!)
Spook Walk: Wander through our haunted forest filled with creatures of the night, strange sounds, and things that go bump in the dark. Will you survive, or will you get lost forever in the afterlife?
Archery & BB Gun Range: Whether you're aiming for the bullseye or just letting off some steam, our spooky archery and BB gun range will test your skills! Try to stay calm… the monsters are always watching
Haunted House: You and your group will traverse through the darkened rooms filled with creatures, bodies, noises of the night, and things that only your imagination will let you see!
Slingshots: Try your best using special "treats" as you target the ghostly shapes.....
Pumpkin painting: Paint the scariest of faces and maybe, just maybe, they will walk away in the night!
Midway games: Circulate throughout this area to find your inner strength through individual and group activities!!!
Hay Ride: Why walk when you can hop on and off the magical carpet of hay..........
NOTE: Each camp offers some different activities then the other so how about going to both- they are on seperate weekends!!!!

Cost to attend is only $30 per scout, adults are FREE as are siblings under 4 years old AND we offer a Family Deal as well! Check this out at the payment section of the registration.
Dinner meal on Saturday is also an optional cost. For only $5.00 per person, you get a ghostly meal! Sign-up for your meals during registration and LASTLY, how about a commemorative T-shirt for everyone on your family. These awesome shirts can be worn all year long and are available for purchase during registration...Don't be the only one without a beautiful shirt!
Would you like to camp out? Yes, you or your pack can camp out Friday and/or Saturday. You will need to bring all your own gear and food, and there is NO programs provided on Friday or up to the start of the event on Saturday AND you are not allowed to visit ANY of the event areas until after check-in at the Administration building for safety reasons. You will need to indicate if you are or are not camping and for how many. Please, do not try to make a separate camping reservation through Blackpug as it is turned off for the applicable weekends and camp management will select your campsite as many are used for programming..............
