Scouts Read Sacred Text Worldwide

Scouts Read Sacred Text Worldwide is a worldwide event where scouts from all over will read their sacred texts. Scouts will start reading at 5:30 pm in the Far East, seven hours later, Scouts read in Europe, we cross the Atlantic and seven hours later, Scouts begin reading on the East Coast, then Midwest and finish in California.
What a vision to have Sacred Texts being read starting in the Far East and sweeping west all around the world – all on the US National Day of Prayer.
Here in the Golden Spread Council, we have chosen to read the writing of Luke from the Holy Bible. We will have 15-minute time slots for scouts to sign-up to read. We will start with Luke 1-2 at 4:30pm and end with Acts 26-28 at approximately 9:30pm.
This requires 23 volunteers to read. Volunteers will need to join the zoom meeting or at the live reading location 20 minutes before their time slot and be ready to read promptly as soon as the person in front of them finishes.
The reading and times are listed in the registration link. Please choose an available time and add your contact information. Zoom link will be emailed to you after registration.
