CATHOLIC COMMITTEE ON SCOUTING

The Catholic Committee on Scouting for the Diocese of Nashville invites you to join us on February 21-22, 2025 for the 2nd Annual Region 5 Catholic Scouter’s Conference. It is our objective to provide you with information that you may have heard but did not receive the complete message that would allow you to share it with others. Yes some of the information will be old news for some but new and challenging news for others.

Topics that we anticipate including will be a Priest/Deacon Roundtable with discussion centered on their individual call to their vocation through their Scouting experience as a youth. Additionally, we will provide an update on the proceedings of the NCCS from the 48th Biennial Meeting held in April 2024. The final piece of the meeting will be a presentation on the recent pastoral document issued by the USCCB titled “Listen, Teach, Send.”
