What is Wood Badge?
Wood Badge is Scouting’s most advanced training for adults offered at the Council level. A national course open only to Scouting volunteers and professionals, the training has two distinct parts. The first part takes place in the outdoors where the aims and methods of Scouting are explained and demonstrated by a volunteer staff of fellow Scouters, During the second part, participants will show their knowledge of leadership principles by completing a set of personal goals related to their Scouting positions.
