Thank you for your willingness to join us at Boxwell Reservation for our 21st annual Winter Camp hosted by the Order of the Arrow. My name is Mary Nicholson, and I am the 2023 Winter Camp Chairman for the Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge in the Middle Tennessee Council. My goal for Winter Camp 2023 is to create fun, educational, and meaningful experiences for scouts both young and old.

The Order of the Arrow will be providing Green Bar and merit badge opportunities that will help the younger scouts who are new to the program as well as offering challenging experiences for the older scouts. We will also be offering fun and recreational programs for the adult leaders in your unit.

Winter Camp gives your scouts a place to learn and grow in a fun, safe and exciting environment. Winter Camp is entirely led and staffed by youth in the Order of the Arrow, from planning to execution, and is a way for both younger and older scouts to experience a truly youth-led program. Our Lodge is excited and honored to serve your units for the 21st consecutive year. There are endless opportunities in scouting and we in the Order of the Arrow are honored to assist your scouts in cheerful service.

I hope we have sparked your interest in joining us this year for Winter Camp 2023.

Our theme this year is Ice Age: Around the World, and we will have different opportunities to allow your scouts to be immersed in the Ice Ages across the globe. We hope to inspire your youth’s creativity and increase their abilities in scouting and in serving others.

Thank you for your devotion to scouting and your willingness to grow and mentor the youth in your units. Through scouting, my scout leaders have molded me into the person I am today, and I hope together we can help your scouts become the best versions of themselves.
