April Merit Badge (Sunday)

Event Details

The Middle Tennessee Council is excited to offer another Merit Badge Days for Scouts BSA to advance in the BSA program. Merit Badge Days has been a huge success and will continue this program for our Scout BSA program. We will conduct this program in the same manor and style and will be offering 15 Merit Badge options for your Scout to choose one a day. Your Scout can sign up for one day or both days (Saturday and Sunday).

The Cost is $35 per day and lunch is provided. Each session is limited to 25 or less Scouts and will be on a first come, first serve bases. Parents who are interested in staying can have the option to purchasing a lunch for $5.00. Everyone coming will need a water bottle, paper and pencil and other items needed for your merit badge class.

Below is the list of classes taught daily at camp. Check-in will begin at 8:00 am. You must parts A and B of the Health Forms completed.  Pick-up will be at 5:00 pm at the same place that you dropped your Scout off.

Scout Opportunities - $35 per Scout (per day) additional fee’s are required for Graphic Arts, Motorboating and Plumbing.

  • Plumbing - please wear clothing to get dirty in, long pants and closed toed shoes (Additional Fee)
  • Scouting Heritage-need to have printed history on your scout troop before you attend
  • Small Boat Sailing - Swimmer Classification is required.

SWIMMER’S CLASSIFICATION:  This is the BSA Swim Test. This is typically completed for summer camp.  THE BSA  Swimmer's Test is when a Scout: Jump feet first into water over the head in depth, level off, and begin swimming. Swim 75 yards in a strong manner using one or more of the following strokes: side stroke, breaststroke, trudgen, or crawl; then swim 25 yards using an easy resting back stroke. The 100 yards must be swum continuously and include at least one sharp turn. After completing the swim, rest by floating.  We will accept a copy of a completed Unit Swim Classification Record from 2022 or 2023. If a swim test is needed we will provide an oppourtunity from 8:00 am - 8:50 am.

  • Chainsaw Safety - COST $35.00 - Saturday Only.
  • Leave No Trace 101  - COST $15.00 - Saturday Only.
  • Round Tuit and Adult Lunch - COST $5.00 - Saturday and Sunday
