Cub N Family @ Latimer Reservation

Each spring Latimer Reservation opens its doors to Cub Scouts and their families throughout the Middle Tennessee Council for the annual Spring Cub N Family.  Latimer Reservation is 1550 acres of pristine wilderness in Spencer, Tennessee.

This family camping weekend will include shooting ranges, crafts, games, and special projects.  The weekend will provide opportunity for families to enjoy the great outdoors together.  Registration for Cub and Family is limited to the first 110 Cubs.  Once registration is FULL, no additional registrations will be allowed.  Bring your fishing pole and bait (we do not sell bait) and fish for bluegill, shell cracker and bass in our 21-acre lake. 

Camping will be available for families to bring their own tents, or you may rent a tent in Tent City.  The cost for rental is $10.00 for weekend.  Each family is responsible for their own food for the weekend. 

This year Latimer Reservation is offering a special Saturday Meal Plan to make it somewhat easier on families.  This meal plan will apply to lunch and dinner on Saturday and will be limited to the first 150 meal plans purchased.  Families will be responsible for Saturday and Sunday breakfast, which can be very simple.  Here is the plan:

Saturday Lunch is $5.00 per person (Hamburger, Chips, Fruit Cup and Cookie)

Saturday Dinner is $6.00 per person (Chicken Tenders, Mac & Cheese, Broccoli, and Dessert)

Special Deal – Purchase both meals $10.00 per person

Special Note: PLEASE BRING BSA MEDICAL FORM FOR EACH PARTICIPANT TO CAMP. SCOUTS FROM THE SAME PACK WILL BE PLACED IN THE SAME CAMPSITE.
