$15 Per Scout and $10 Per Adult Leader

The Central District Fall Camporee, themed “Fall Olympics: Scout Edition,” is set to take place at the historic Camp Joy from Friday, September 20, through Sunday, September 22, 2024. This year’s camporee, hosted by the Parkers Crossroads Battlefield Association, invites Scouts to dust off their gear, lace up their shoes, and get ready to compete in a series of fun and challenging activities inspired by the spirit of the Olympics. Whether you're an experienced Scout or new to the adventure, this event promises a weekend full of excitement, learning, and camaraderie.

Merit Badge Focus: Our main focus will be on the Sports Merit Badge, offering Scouts the opportunity to dive deep into the requirements and activities that this badge entails. However, the camporee will also provide opportunities to complete requirements for a variety of other merit badges. The goal is to allow each Troop and Scout to utilize the camporee's resources in a way that best supports their individual scouting goals.

Event Highlights:

Olympic-Themed Challenges: Engage in a variety of Scout activities designed to test your skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Merit Badge Opportunities: Focus on earning the Sports Merit Badge, with chances to work on additional merit badges of your choosing.

Evening Campfire: Gather around the campfire for stories, songs, and reflections that highlight the values of Scouting.

Flag Ceremony: Participate in a patriotic flag ceremony, celebrating our shared values and community.

Location: Camp Joy, a scenic and historic site, will serve as the backdrop for this exciting camporee, offering the perfect environment for Scouts to learn, compete, and grow.
