UT Martin Merit Badge Workshop

UT Martin Campus

Registration opens December 1st. We will be doing all registrations online www.westtnscouts.org. Please register as a troop if possible.  It helps with the paperwork.  Multi councils will be attending this event.  Registration closes February 7th at midnight. Instructions for obtaining a parking pass will be sent out once registration has closed. Parking passes are free to obtain.

Scouts will be asked to follow the buddy system.

Schedule:

• 8:00 am     Registration begins, University Center, Watkins Auditorium
• 8:20 am     Potential guest speaker Dr. Andy Lewter UT Martin Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
• 8:30 am     Registration closes
• 8:40 am     Opening Ceremony
• 9:00 am     Classes Begin (Scouts will be taken to classrooms)
• 12:00 pm   Lunch –Bring your own
• 1:00 pm     Classes Resume
• 3:30 pm     Classes end (return to Watkins Auditorium for dismissal and pickup)

Notes:

• Parking available in University Center lot building 16, marked on the map on the reverse side of this page. 
• Orienteering, Veterinary Medicine, Landscape Architecture, and Animal Science will include time spent doing outdoor activities—dress for the Field! Emergency Preparedness has also spent some time outside in the past.
• Questions, contact Chris Winschel, 731-819-3721, winschel.chris@gmail.com. 
• Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science is on far side of campus.  If those driving don’t mind taking those without a ride to the site. Scouts and Leaders from these merit badges don’t come back at lunchtime.  Please take it with you.
