Be our guest as we honor Bob Pouncey with the Jan Thomas Good Scout Award. Bob has been a life-long supporter of Scouting and truly embodies the Scout Oath and Law. He is himself a second-generation Eagle Scout, and his sons and grandson are Eagle Scouts as well. Bob has worked his whole life as a farmer in Crittenden County and as a Scout and volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America at the unit, district, council, and region levels. This ceremony and dinner will occur at The Post, 114 N Missouri Street, West Memphis, AR 72301, on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

I’m sure you are aware of the significant contributions the Boy Scouts of America has made to the lives of young people in our area.  For over 114 years, this youth program has taught our young people character, education, reverence to God, leadership, and ethical decision-making skills, leadership traits that can serve an adult a lifetime.  Your financial support is vital to our council's mission to help young people reach their full potential.  During the dinner, you will have the opportunity to donate to the Scouting program. If you are unable to attend the dinner, kindly return the enclosed sheet with your donation. Your contribution will benefit the scouting efforts of the Chickasaw Council in Crittenden County.
