1916 Society
Charter Member Giving
The 1916 Society is a legacy and endowment giving initiative created to ensure the long-term strength and sustainability of Scouting.
Through meaningful contributions today or planned gifts for the future, members help to secure resources that will serve youth and communities for generations to come.
Membership is extended to those who make a gift of $10,000 or more, or who establish a planned gift of $25,000 or greater.
As part of this founding effort, donors may be recognized as Charter Members by joining between April and September 2026. Additional recognition tiers honor those who commit within the established timeline through February 2028, celebrating each donor's rold in building a lasting legacy for Scouting's future.
Charter Member Tiers:
Legacy Charter Member: Planned or cash gift by September 2026
Eagle Charter Member: Planned or cash gift by December 2026
First Class Charter Member: Planned or cash gift by October 2027
Charter Member: Planned or cash gift by February 2028
Giving Levels:
| $10,000+ Riverfront Founders | Become a Riverfront Founder and receive and exclusive 1916 Society patch, recognition as a James E. West Fellow, and a Gold Level commemorative coin. You'll also be invited to an annual member social and recognized among a distinguished group of supporters committed to sustaining Scouting's future. |
| $15,000+ Delta Explorers | As a Delta Explorer, you'll receive an exclusive 1916 Society patch and lapel pin, recognition as a James E. West Fellow, and a Diamond Level commemorative coin. You'll also enjoy invitations to annual member gatherings and be recognized for your leadership in advancing the mission of Scouting. |
| $25,000+ Bluff City Pathfinders | Bluff City Pathfinders receive an exclusive 1916 Society patch and lapel pin, a commemorative coin, and membership in the national Second Century Society, including a special lapel pin and certifcate. This level reflects a deepet legacy commitment and includes recognition among those shaping the future of Scouting for generations to come. |
| $100,000+ Chickasaw Trailblazers | As a Chickasaw Trailblazer, you'll recieve an exclusive 1916 Society patch, lapel pin, and commemorative coin, along with invitations to an annual social. You will also recieve membership in the national Second Century Society, including a lapel pin, certificate, framed Rockwell print, and a custom Second Century Society insignia item. |
| $500,000+ Chickasaw Heritage Circle | Chickasaw Heritage Circle members receive an exclusive 1916 Society patch, lapel pin, and commemorative coin, along with invitations to an annual social. You will also receive membership in the national Second Century Society, including a lapel pin, certificate, limited-edition framed Rockwell print, and a custom Second Century Society insignia item. |
| $1,000,000+ Chickasaw Legacy Society | Become a Chickasaw Legacy Society member and receive an exclusive 1916 Society patch, lapel pin, and commemorative coin, along with invitations to an annual social. You will also receive membership in the national Second Century Society, including a lapel pin, certificate, premium framed Rockwell print, and a custom Second Century Society insignia item. |
All gifts may be made as cash or deferred commitments.
Pledges up to $25,000 may be paid over five years;
pledges over $25,000 may be paid over ten years.
About the Chickasaw Council
Founded in 1916 in Memphis, the Chickasaw Council of Scouting America has been serving youth and families across the Mid-South for over 100 years.
Today, the Council reaches over 3,200 young people across 17 counties in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi, delivering programs that build character, leadership, and a lifelong commitment to service.
Supported by dedicated vollunteers and community partners, the Chickasaw Council provides year-round opportunities for growth through Scouting programs, camps, and leadership development experiences.
As an independant nonprofit, it's mission is sustained through the generosity fo donors who help ensure that the values and impact of Scouting continue to shape future generations.
