Cub Rangemaster Training

Shooting Sports (aka: Range and Target Activities) is an integral part of the Cub Scout experience. Cub Scouts may only participate in age-appropriate BB Gun and Archery and Sling Shots events at District or Council activities only when there is a properly trained adult (Rangemaster) is present. Anyone 21+ may serve as a Rangemaster.
The Indoor portion (at GSMC office) will be conducted on:
START: Saturday, October 18 - check-in begins at 1:30pm
END: Saturday, October 18 - ends by 5:00pm
The Outdoor portion will be conducted during ScoutFest on October 18th.
This will give new people a LIVE hands-on experience working with Cub Scouts.
Participants must complete both portions in order to be certified and receive their cards.
We MUST have at least 5 to register to offer course (maximum class size is 20)
Registration closes 24 hours in advance of the class and no walk-ons are accepted
*Rangemaster certifications are good for two years.
Must give us preferred size of Rangemaster Vest to receive after course is successfully completed
Make sure you BRING with you a COPY of your YPT certificate & BSA Medical A&B form.
